BOOKINGS

Our valet storage service offers two container options: Tough Trunks for small to medium items and Storage Pods for larger belongings. We deliver the containers to you, you pack them, and we collect and securely store them for you.

We also have a self storage option where you can bring your belongings to our trusted facility, pack your storage container and we will keep it stored safely for you.

Access your items anytime with our retrieval service, all online and all from the convenience of your home or office. Mix and match your storage solutions and logistics to suit your needs! You’ll never have to visit a storage facility again!

Use our easy dashboard to keep track of your storage containers. Simply click on the Log in link in the menu bar to access your dashboard. Once you have access, you can go to your items and manage your inventory by creating descriptions and inventory lists of each storage container. Add in some pictures of your packed storage to keep track of those miscellaneous items that can’t be placed in descriptions. Our dashboard is also perfect for booking and tracking orders as well as scheduling returns.

You can change or cancel your reservation by contacting our friendly staff either via email or telephonically. Check out our contact us page for contact information. We ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice, should you need to change or cancel your reservation. If you cancel or change your reservation within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged a R500.00 service fee.

We have two collection options to suit your schedule.

Collect Immediately – You will have 30 minutes from the time that your Butlers drop off the Storage Container(s) to pack your belongings. If you take longer than 30 minutes, we will be in contact with you to reschedule your appointment.

Collect Later – You have within three days to pack your belongings and we will come to collect when you have scheduled your collection. Should you need to change or cancel your reservation, please inform us at least 24 hours beforehand.

Yes, you can order packing supplies at the same time you create an order for the storage containers. We also have the option of hiring a Handy Helper to assist you with the packing of your storage container(s).

When booking delivery, your booking will be at least 72 hours from the time of request. If you need quicker service, just contact our friendly staff and we can easily accommodate an expedited delivery.

STORING WITH US

When we deliver your storage containers, we provide you with security seals. Once you have finished packing, you can attach the seals to each of your boxes. Each seal has a unique number that you can record with your items in the inventory list in your account on the website. We will never open your boxes without your express permission unless we need to for legal reasons. If you feel that it is still not secure enough, you are welcome to provide your own locks to use on your storage containers.

Yes, you are unable to store any perishable items, breakables, liquids, explosive devices, artwork, mirrors, jewellery, glass, fine art or any illegal substances or illegal drugs. If you are unsure, please check out our Ts&Cs or contact us to double check. We have the legal right to open your storage container, if you are found to be storing any of the previously mentioned items.

Use our trusted calculator to find out an estimated size for your items. You can even customize the calculator to your exact needs to ensure that you are ordering the right sizes. Still unsure? You can order as many storage containers as you think that you will need and if you order too many, we will take them back at no charge to you. If you have packed your storage containers and still need more, just give us a call or order online and we’ll send you more empty storage containers for you to store your items.

We store all items in our state-of-the-art secured storage facilities. The facilities are all controlled, monitored 24/7, pest free and fully fire compliant.

Boxes or items cannot exceed their listed weight limit so make sure you take note of this when selecting your boxes.

We include insurance coverage between R1,000 and R5,000 depending on the storage container. For additional coverage, please contact your insurance provider and review your household insurance policy.

DELIVERIES AND COLLECTIONS

Simple. Just log in to your account and select the storage containers you need back under the Items section of your dashboard, then select “End and Return” and schedule a convenient date and time for delivery. If you need temporary access to your items just click on “Return and Recollect” and then schedule the delivery and re-collection.

We operate in most areas around the Western Cape.

Absolutely. Just enter the address you need the items sent back to and we’ll deliver them there. If you want them to be delivered to another person, please enter their information. For the delivery, make sure they have a photo ID on them so that we can ensure that your belongings are being delivered to the correct person.

FEES and BILLING

Collection Costs: Return delivery costs are the same as pickup costs, unless a discount or special offer was applied to the initial collection. In that case the return price may be different.

Initial Drop-off (Empty Containers): Free

Pickup of Tough Trunks (Filled): Approximately R275 (regardless of quantity) per pickup event.

Pickup of Storage Pods (Filled): Approximately R795 per Storage Pod.

Return Costs:

Return of Tough Trunks (Empty): Approximately R275 (regardless of quantity) per return event.

Return of Storage Pods (Empty): Approximately R795 per Storage Pod.

We only prorate your initial order. We do not prorate within months for that month’s storage. If you have your boxes delivered out of storage before the next billing cycle you will not be charged for the following month.

If you know in advance that you may be late making a payment for any reason, please contact us so that we can work with you. If you don’t reach out to us, you will be charged a penalty fee for late or missed payments. In extreme cases, if you have not paid we may not return your belongings or take further action until your account balance is settled.

We only require our customers to store at least 1 box with us for 1 month.

We accept all major credit and debit cards as payment. You will have to provide your credit card information at the time you place your order. Your account will then be automatically charged on a monthly basis.

Your billing and account information can be updated through your account dashboard by logging in to your account. If you are struggling, please contact call 087 330 7500 or whatsapp 069 667 7227 to assist you.

In the case that you do not have any full boxes or items to store with us, we’ll have to charge you R500.00 for the cost of delivering and then collecting the empty boxes from you. Please contact call 087 330 7500 or whatsapp 069 667 7227 to confirm your cancellation.

Please note that there is also a once off delivery fee of R650.00 within a 65km radius of our offices.
